Does TS shortcut key work on Windows 10?
Using build 9841 the [Win] + Z combo (or any other combo) does not bring up the TS menu for me. Thanks.

The capture images are messed up with MS Surface + external monitors + Win 8.1
They are chopped up and not showing active application. If I switch to showing all screens, the surface (hi res) monitor is chopped off.

[X] Exclude checkbox next to filter drop-down to invert the filtering
[X] Exclude checkbox next to filter drop-down to provide the option to invert the filtering -- when checked, timeline and screenshots show everything except the selected application. Use-case: I do a lot of work on remote desktops; would like to be able to exclude those sessions and look at activity only on local machine.

Timeline and reports color-coded by application
Timeline activity bars and report percentage bars color-coded by application -- default (distinct) colors by default, but user should be able to set/override. Colors should be remembered -- permanently associated with an application. Same colors should appear in timeline and in reports.

Provide a utility to "thin" captured images
For long term storage it is often not necessary to keep as many images. It would be convenient if there were a way to keep a subset of the captured files while deleting the rest. For example, If I capture images every 10 seconds, it would be useful to be able to thin these down to one per minute for longer term archiving.

Your product would be a great addon product to a time and billing program such as timeslips.
Timeslips is a billing software for professionals. They recently added a time capture feature but it doesn't track the date and time a program was worked on. Your product would be a great addon to be able to integrate with timeslips and create slips to import into the billing program.

Add productivity notifications/timers.
Notify users if their productivity drops below a certain level or they spend too much time on a non-productive application. There are many many things that could be done in this space to make this a more robust anti-procrastination tool.

Record a specific program
One of the ways we use TimeSnapper is to record the screen of our QA, trying to break our application! And it works wondefully - we can simply replay the steps immediately.
However, instead of recording the entire screen all the time, I want TimeSnapper to only record a specific process (or processes).
Could you add that option? Alternatively, maybe only record those processes that are already in the "productive" group?
Thanks!

Allow flag color to be specified by lookup database
When browsing a day, it's easier to group similar items together if you've set the flag color to something specific. But this is tedious to do every time you set a flag. It would be nice to be able to specify the color for a flag based on a field in the lookup database and have the color automatically chosen for you.

Allow select all shortcut in flag info comment box
In the flag info dialog box, the comment box prevents the standard Ctrl+A shortcut for selecting all text. It would be nice to have the typical text box functionality for users who like to stick to their keyboard.

thumbnail View With Overlay
Instead of showing one image at a time, why not show 60 images in a filmstrip like view with the timeline across the bottom. This way it would be easy to tell at a glance where a task starts and stops.

15 tic marks for playback timeline
Just a small UI update to include 15 minute marks to better gauge time at glance, and maybe at zoom level show 5 or 10 minute hash marks

Make keyboard shortcuts configurable. They don't work in Windows 8.1
Win+s does not anymore popup timesnapper in windows 8.1 as it brings up the windows search box. Any other win+ key combination does not seem to work either.
16 votesFor now, we suggest using Win+W. In a future version we will allow other modifiers.

Include a Productive filter in the Browsing day filter drop down
The productivity score involves defining which applications are considered productive to get a percent score. I'd like to be able "Play my day" with just the applications I consider as productive being included in the timeline.

Output time-lapse video of my work
I am a work-from-home software developer and I bill clients by the hour. I would like to take a block of time and export the playback to a common video format (like mp4) so I can give it to my clients as proof of how much work I did on their project. While I generally have good trust with my clients, this kind of proof removes any doubt that I may have padded my bill with time that I was not actually working.

create a mobile app for Jailbroken iOs devices
I would like to see a mobile version of this app, a lot of my computing has moved to my iPhone and iPad. I rely heavily on TimeSnapper to help me keep track of my activity and it has no ability to reach my mobile devices.
I understand that most mobile operating systems do n allow the level of access it would need, so it might need to be limited to jailbroken devices. I suggest exploring the idea to determine if it can be done and done profitably.
Please post the results in the FAQ.
Thank you for a great…

Default Calendar (playback) Time Range
Can we have a default view for the Time Range?
When comparing different days it's easier if it doesn't zoom differently for every day.A good starting point for a default would be 8am to 6pm. That would cover 90% of use cases. It could be an optional, configurable setting.
Thanks

"Active hours/Active days" option (To limit logging to working hours)
You set your working hours and working days, and it only counts this toward your productivity score.
