  1. The productivity score involves defining which applications are considered productive to get a percent score. I'd like to be able "Play my day" with just the applications I consider as productive being included in the timeline.

  2. I would like to see a mobile version of this app, a lot of my computing has moved to my iPhone and iPad. I rely heavily on TimeSnapper to help me keep track of my activity and it has no ability to reach my mobile devices.

I understand that most mobile operating systems do n allow the level of access it would need, so it might need to be limited to jailbroken devices. I suggest exploring the idea to determine if it can be done and done profitably.

  3. Can we have a default view for the Time Range?
When comparing different days it's easier if it doesn't zoom differently for every day.

A good starting point for a default would be 8am to 6pm. That would cover 90% of use cases. It could be an optional, configurable setting.

    Thanks

  4. Encryption is really important with such sensitive data as screenshots and captured data. There is an encryption but there is no description on what methods are used. Therefore it cannot be considered secure at all and must be fixed.

One may guess it may well be just a hardcoded passwort now since the pictures are encrypted without reentering the password after system start.

OpenSSL or alike should and could be used easily to create a keypair with the public key being unencrypted and the private key being encrypted by the user passwored stored in the Timesnapper DB (with a seperat…

  7. Unless I missed it, there is no actual manual for the software. It's easy to use, but a proper manual would really be nice. The info on the website is in several different places, and most of it is really only a features listing showing WHAT can be done, but not HOW to do it.

  9. I often have the problem that I am moving through the day browser using the arrow keys and the screen updates are significantly lagging behind my key presses (this happens especially with large screenshots, e.g. from a multi-monitor RDP-session - see my other request). By the time I have found the shot I was looking for, it seems the keyboard buffer has often filled up so much that the day browser skips a couple of frames further (often it's much more than just a couple). I have seen this behaviour on all three machines that I have used TS on…

  10. Hi, we are no longer able to install .net 3.5 and lower on our laptops. Any chance this could run on .net framework 4.8 (or anything about 3.5)?

  12. For long term storage it is often not necessary to keep as many images. It would be convenient if there were a way to keep a subset of the captured files while deleting the rest. For example, If I capture images every 10 seconds, it would be useful to be able to thin these down to one per minute for longer term archiving.

  14. Timeslips is a billing software for professionals. They recently added a time capture feature but it doesn't track the date and time a program was worked on. Your product would be a great addon to be able to integrate with timeslips and create slips to import into the billing program.

  16. I've used TimeSnapper Classic for about a week and decided to give the Pro version a try. I keep close watch on my cpu temperatures with audible warnings at different temperature ranges. With the Classic version, I never got any alerts. However, the Pro version is definitely using quite a bit of cpu processes to just take a screenshot. Every time the snap is taken TS uses anywhere from 25 to 30% of the cpu processes. The only way that I could get better control of this was to check the low priority Option, set the Affinity in the Windows…

  17. [X] Exclude checkbox next to filter drop-down to provide the option to invert the filtering -- when checked, timeline and screenshots show everything except the selected application. Use-case: I do a lot of work on remote desktops; would like to be able to exclude those sessions and look at activity only on local machine.
